Dr. Peter Grant earned his dental and orthodontic degrees from the University of Queensland. After graduating, Dr. Grant continued his passion for orthodontics by becoming a lecturer at the University, where he also met his wife, Roslyn.
Dr. Grant went on to build a remarkable career in orthodontics, practising for over 30 years. During this time, he has remained committed to the latest advances in technology and treatment methods.
Upon completing his formal training, Dr. Grant's dedication to innovation made him one of the first to adopt modern orthodontic techniques in Australia. He has been putting clear braces on patients' "social six" teeth for nearly three decades, attended the inaugural Invisalign® accreditation course in Queensland, and was an early adopter of ClearCorrect™. Dr. Grant's commitment to excellence extends to providing in-house aligners using Orchestrate 3D, offering a cost-effective option for simpler orthodontic cases.
Throughout his career, Dr. Grant has been honoured to serve in various leadership roles within professional organisations. He has held executive roles, including President, for both the South Coast Australian Dental Association and the Queensland Society of Orthodontists. As a current State Convenor for the Australasian Orthodontic Board, he actively assesses post-graduate orthodontists, ensuring the highest standards in the field.

The clear aligner system can only work if the recommended guidelines are followed exactly! Aligners should be worn 20 – 22 hours per day throughout treatment. If patients neglect to wear the aligners as directed, it can impede the results and add time to the orthodontic process.
Aligners are most efficient when correcting many of the most common orthodontic issues. For some complex cases, clear aligners may not be a suitable option.
